News from China
Greetings one and all, This is Xinqing’s Husband. It’s been a while since anything was posted here.
I just spoke with Xinqing and she is very busy. There is some good news though. Xinqing’s mom is much better. 🙂
I gave Xinqing an update on what is happening here. We had some plumbing problems I had to have repaired.
First the hot water heater started leaking and had to be replaced. Then there were problems in the upstairs bathroom. Well all those have been fixed now and are in good working order for Xinqing when she gets home.
Xinqing will be traveling back December 2 from China. She has made arrangements for a friend to meet her at the airport. (She thought I had to work that day) Since Xinqing has already made plans it’s easier for me to be at the door, flowers and champagne waiting. 😀
Unfortunately, Xinqing won’t be back in time for Thanksgiving, but she will be here for my parents 55th anniversary. I wasn’t able to be at their 50th due to my being in China becoming Mr. Xinqing Zhang. 😉
Hopefully this time the party won’t be such a barn burner. No, I’m not joking. The party was held at my sister’s home and due to a malfunctioning wood stove, after everyone left, a fire started in the roof. :O
Hopefully Xinqing will be over her jet lag and be able to attend. While she does like to visit new places, she doesn’t travel well. 😉
